SALON POLICIES

I strive to provide every guest with a personalized, elevated salon experience while maintaining the integrity and health of your hair. Please review the policies below prior to booking your appointment.

Booking & Deposits

A deposit may be required for all new guests, transformation services, and extended colour appointments. Deposits secure your reserved appointment time and will be applied toward your final service total.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of late cancellations or no-shows.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. I kindly request a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.

•⁠  ⁠Cancellations made within 24 hours may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service total.
•⁠  ⁠Same-day cancellations and no-shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled appointment total.

I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can arise, and appreciation is always given for open communication and consideration of my time and schedule.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time to ensure the full experience of your appointment.

Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may require a modification of services or rescheduling depending on timing and availability. Full appointment charges may still apply.

Appointment Timing

Please ensure you allow enough time for your appointment, especially for colour services and transformations. Hair should never be rushed, and timing can vary depending on your hair density, length, history, and desired end result.

My priority is delivering beautiful, customized hair while maintaining the integrity and health of your hair.

Consultation & Hair History

Honest and accurate hair history is essential in achieving the best possible results. Previous colour, box dye, keratin treatments, medications, mineral buildup, extensions, and at-home treatments can all affect the outcome of your service.

Inspiration photos are always encouraged and help create a clear vision for your desired result.

Some guests may require multiple sessions to safely achieve their hair goals while maintaining the integrity of the hair.

Hair Integrity Policy

The health and integrity of your hair will always be my top priority.

While I specialize in lived-in colour, dimensional blondes, grey blending, balayage, and customized colour transformations, not every result can be safely achieved in a single appointment. I reserve the right to modify or refuse a service if I believe the hair has been compromised or if the requested result would cause excessive damage.

I exclusively work with Davines professional colour and haircare products and carefully recommend at-home products and routines based on your individual hair needs and goals. Recommendations may also include professional haircare, treatments, heat protection, and shower filters to help maintain the longevity, tone, softness, and overall health of your hair.

Please understand that the longevity and condition of your colour is heavily influenced by at-home maintenance and product usage. If recommended products and care routines are not being followed, I cannot guarantee the longevity, tone, hydration, or overall condition of the hair and colour results.

Colour Results & Expectations

Every head of hair is unique. Final colour results may vary depending on:

•⁠  ⁠Hair history
•⁠  ⁠Previous colour services
•⁠  ⁠Natural level and texture
•⁠  ⁠Hair condition and integrity
•⁠  ⁠At-home hair care
•⁠  ⁠Environmental factors and water quality

While every effort is made to achieve your desired result, no specific outcome can be guaranteed in one session.

Adjustment Policy

Your satisfaction is important to me. If you have any concerns regarding your service, please contact me within 7 days of your appointment so I may review and, if appropriate, schedule an adjustment appointment.

Adjustments do not apply to:

•⁠  ⁠Changes of mind
•⁠  ⁠Desired changes discussed after the appointment
•⁠  ⁠Services performed by another stylist
•⁠  ⁠Improper at-home care or use of non-professional products

No refunds are issued on salon services.

Guests & Children

To maintain a relaxing environment and allow full focus during appointments, I kindly ask that no additional guests or children accompany you unless they are receiving a service.

Photography & Social Media

Photography and video may occasionally be taken during or after your appointment for educational, marketing, and social media purposes, including Instagram and website content.

By booking an appointment, you consent to the use of salon photography unless otherwise requested. Your comfort is always respected, and please feel free to let me know if you prefer not to be photographed.
