Q: Where are you located?

I am based in Orange County, California, with select appointments available in South Florida. Availability and locations are announced throughout the year.

 

Q: How do I book an appointment?

Please complete the booking form through the BOOK HERE link on my website. This allows me to review your hair history, current hair and desired result before recommending the appropriate service and appointment time.

 

Q: Do I need a consultation before booking?

For new clients, major colour changes and colour corrections, a consultation may be required. Your booking form helps me determine whether a separate consultation is necessary before scheduling your service.

 

Q: How much will my appointment cost?

Starting prices can be found on the Services page. Final pricing depends on your hair’s length, density, history, current condition and desired result. Larger transformations or corrective colour may require multiple services or appointments.

 

Q: What if I don’t know what service to book?

That’s completely fine. Complete the booking form with as much information as possible and upload clear photos of your current hair along with inspiration photos. I can then guide you toward the most appropriate service.

 

Q: How long will my appointment take?

Appointment times vary depending on your hair and the service being performed. Colour transformations, corrections and more detailed work may require additional time. Hair should never be rushed, and maintaining the health and integrity of your hair is always my priority.

 

Q: What products and colour do you use?

I primarily work with Davines, an Italian professional haircare and colour house known for high-performance formulas and a strong focus on hair health. I also personally recommend a curated selection of professional products and tools, which you can find under Shop Justine’s Favourites.

 

Q: Do you offer grey coverage and grey blending?

Yes. Grey coverage and grey blending are customized depending on how much grey you have, your natural colour, maintenance preferences and desired result. The goal may be full coverage or a softer blend that allows for a more seamless grow-out.

 

Q: Do you offer bleach-free highlights?

Yes, when suitable for the hair. Bleach-free highlighting uses professional colour or high-lift tint to create brightness without traditional lightener. It is not appropriate for every starting colour or desired result, so this is determined individually.

 

Q: Do you do colour corrections?

Yes. Colour corrections are highly customized and may require more than one appointment to achieve the desired result safely. Hair health and integrity always come before achieving a result in a single session.

 

Q: Do you cut both women’s and men’s hair?

Yes. I offer precision cutting for both women and men.

 

Q: Do you offer extensions?

Yes. Extension services are customized according to your hair, desired result and suitability. A consultation is required before booking an extension installation.

 

Q: What should I do before my colour appointment?

Please arrive with your hair dry and reasonably clean, without heavy oils, root sprays or excessive product buildup unless otherwise discussed. If there is anything specific I need you to do before your appointment, I will let you know beforehand.

 

Q: What if I have box colour, henna, keratin or previous chemical treatments on my hair?

Please disclose your complete hair and chemical history on your booking form. Previous colour and chemical treatments can significantly affect what can safely be achieved, even if they were done several months ago.

 

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling. Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged 50% of the scheduled service total. Same-day cancellations and no-shows may be charged 100%. Please see Studio Policies for full details.

 

Q: Do you accept walk-ins?

No. All services are by appointment so that the appropriate amount of time can be reserved specifically for you.
